Hi, I’m Kristin – welcome!
I’ve been involved with the visual and performing arts for most of my life, but crochet is a fairly recent and very special addition. I’ve been crocheting now for sixteen years and designing for eight. Artfully Hooked is my line of self-published crochet patterns, and my designs have also been published in Love of Crochet, Interweave Crochet, and Crochet! magazines.
I especially love crocheted lace and summer wear, and I’m obsessed with color. I take much of my inspiration from the colors of nature and from the unique colorways of independent yarn dyers.
I’m a proud professional member of the Crochet Guild of America (CGOA). I love being part of a crochet community and supporting other crocheters, fiber artists, and fiber folks.
